Rijksmuseum Amsterdam

This is the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. It is a beautiful building built in 1885. It has been closed for many years for renovations but was re-opened by Queen Beatrix in 2013. As its approaching Christmas they have this ice-rink outside at the moment. It was great to watch everyone around the rink and tourists taking photos around the huge Amsterdam sign (only just visible behind all the people!).
We had a great day exploring the streets of Amsterdam, crisp clear November weather. Then we went round to a friends for some drinks then to a restaurant called Flamingo in Waasenar.
