I've been working on the railroad..all day long

These workmen should be safe from passing trains- the last passenger service was in 1969 and the next isn't due until September next year. This is the Borders Railway and I've been taking pictures of its progress.
The line has reached beyond Gorebridge now. Apparently there's a big rail laying machine and perhaps I'll try and catch up with it next weekend.
