Egrets, I've Snapped A Few

but then again, too few to mention.

In yet another badly rain-affected weekend (two planned photoshoots called off), a rare sunny interval, a co-operative Little Egret, and voilà.

This fella was doing good business fishing in the tidal channel, but I didn't manage to catch it with a fish in its beak before it hopped up onto the mud, turned its back on me and had a post prandial snooze. Then it rained. Again.
