Rooks

A walk this afternoon in different shoes from usual was partly successful. They supported my weak ankle so no pain in the joint. But they were a bit tight and caused a blister which was only painful in last downhill stretch to the car. I will have to try another sock /shoe/boot combination. Luckily todays shoes weren't expensive.

Not many birds around 2 distant hovering Kestrels, a mobile flock of 28 Fieldfare and 10 Rooks in a field with sheep. I do like Rooks the way they walk about prodding with their large grey beaks.

Off to steep my feet.......
