El Tour de Tucson

A setady stream of 6700 bicycles flowed around a 104 mile course in Tucson today. Roads were closed and police were stationed at every intersection to direct traffic and to insure that the cyclists were safe. This lady has completed about 80 miles at about five hours into the ride. A 1/1600 sec exposure stopped action but if you VIEW LARGE you can see the swirling of her hair, the ring in her ear and a look of determination and concentration on her face.. This was a long bike ride on a beautiful day with sunshine and highs in the low 70's.
