Season (see-zuh n) - verb (used with object)

to heighten or improve the flavour of (food) by adding condiments, spices, herbs, or the like.


This mixture of herbs, peppercorns and salt seasons our roast chicken. (See what I did there!!????). A comforting roast chicken dinner is something to look forward to on a chilly, wet November day.
