Misty Sunset
I had a rude awakening at around 04:30 - Finlay was barking and making a fuss, and when I came downstairs he was sitting by the back door (very unusual as he normal bounces around for a fuss), so I let him out and he was very, very 'ill'. Poor lad. I stayed up and he asked to go out a couple more time over the next few hours. Was well impressed that he managed to hold on and ask to be let out! Don't know what he had eaten!
I managed to grab an extra hours sleep late morning before delivering Mrs madwill to Harrogate for The Knitting & Stitching Show where she was working for the afternoon. On the way home it was fairly grey and I did try to get some shots but it was just a bit too flat.
Set a lamb hotpot going for tea and left home about 4 pm to collect Mrs madwill - and there was slight mist developing, and on the way to Harrogate I found this scene - the valley was filling up quickly with mist and 'devouring' this tree. The clear skies above had a nice red tinge to it. Stopped to grab a few shots.
Driving in the dark to Harrogate was an interesting experience, lots of patchy fog, mainly in the hollows.
