Eventide

It has been a full-on day today. We went to Gib to do some Christmas shopping and for me to see if my big Nikon needed fixing. I was having trouble with the autofocus, but it seemed that I had got it all confused somehow and it just needed a hard boot. I know the feeling well.

After the essential respite at Sacarello's, I bought a leather jacket from the Indian man on Main Street, a couple of shirts in M & S and then we went to Morrisons for a few groceries. It's funny how amazing a British supermarket seems after Lidl and Mercadona.

Sylvia and Katherine came round for supper, so by the time we had finished we were both shattered.

A bit more peaceful tomorrow, I think.
