Report card season

Well, it's that time of the year again. First of three report cards and this one is tougher since we only had school for 2 months. Trying to give an accurate assessment or snapshot of my student's learning is difficult when there hasn't been a lot of opportunities for them to show evidence. Luckily we are moving away from grades! There's really no need to give an arbitrary value and I can focus on giving more detailed anecdotes, which is definitely more meaningful! Now if only all my parents will buy in to this in three weeks... Fingers crossed!
