This morning after we got Miles a haircut we ventured out to try and find a local tree farm open before Thanksgiving. We drove in circles until we found a good one. We usually wait a bit on our real tree, but again, we won't be able to go this next weekend and I Love Christmas trees so much I don't want to wait until mid December.
So here we all are, probably our last photo as a family of 3! I look big and puffy and tired, but just two more nights until we meet the girls. I can do this!
Miles loved hunting for the perfect tree. He kept saying, "hey guys, how about this one?!" And had many opinions about ones that we suggested. One time telling us, "um, no. That tree is just too....too different" We all finally agreed on one and Miles helped Daddy cut it down. We will get it set up tomorrow night.

This afternoon we went to Nana and Grandpa Mikey's house for an early Thanksgiving dinner. Miles and Grandpa Mikey played cars and lots of rounds of hide-n-go-seek while Nana made a delish dinner. And Miles got to help make the whip cream for the pies. Yum yum.
