Beauly High Street, this evening.

Late in the day again, before wielding a camera. Stopped by here on the way back from Ffordes Photographic shop's open day. They're not normally open at weekends, and I was after a cheap secondhand bag to replace the one I've been using every workday for over two years.It surely won't last much longer. Couple of other small items too. Met a fella from the canoe club. I'd known he was into photography, but I'd thought it was just an interest. Bit more than that, he's been a Pro for thirty-odd years!

Several sales reps. there, including one from Zeiss, complete with a huge "Otus" 85mm f/1.4 lens. What a beast. Then had a look at a rather tasty Nikon lens, which at a tenth of the cost, was in a more realistic price range, for the likes of me. Secondhand too, of course...
