He's coming!

Less than two weeks to the festival and things are hotting up. Amazingly the mayhem of the last couple of weeks is turning into a festival schedule - with events and workshops and concerts and entertainers and everything. Wow! The next two weeks will just be a crazy countdown with 100s of little things to be done and organised, but there's no denying that we're nearly there.

I walked through the market today - had various appointments with various shopkeepers about various events being held in their shops and was stopped in my tracks by little Bonnie in our local baby shop helping her mum and grandma dress their shop window in readiness for the installation of santa's grotto which they're hosting during the festival. So exciting and heartwarming - this is what it's all about for me.

Yes it's schmaltzy, yes that's soft focus.
