I saw that there was a Christmas market in a nearby town, so we decided to go there, even though the weather was lousy. We had a bit of trouble finding it, thought it was in the town but it turned out to be in a barn on a farm outside the town. This building is part of a museum honouring a famous author that lived in the town, Reykholt.
The Christmas market was small (as they usually are here in Iceland), but there were lots of nice things to taste and buy, more food than crafts. We ended up buying some goat chops (M's choice) and some very nice sweets with nuts (my choice)
