Walking on Water

This brave soul was having a paddle in the drizzle in Southend today. It was a very grey day, but very still. I really enjoyed my walk from Old Leigh to Southend, then back to Leigh again to get the train home. I was the only person in Leigh sitting on a damp bench in the drizzle, eating chips, watching the birds and boats in the beautifully calm estuary...now why would that be?!
