Lunchtime Visitor
Living in the suburbs is far cry from Seacliff however we do have the odd brush with nature. I was in the basement watching the football at lunchtime when A called me to look out the window. This raptor had caught a rabbit and decided our garden was an appropriate place for lunch. S(he) stood for ages and allowed me could get quite close with the camera. Didn't start eating until I left - presumably defending the catch. After eating the whole rabbit apart from the fur and intestines it flew up to this tree before heading off into the distance.
Beautiful day - sunny, cold but warming up slightly as the day has gone on.
