In the thick of it

The match today was a hard fought draw on a heavy, muddy pitch. Esteban tackled everyone that came his way, Sam punched and caught and cleared balls, Nic and Ed scored great goals, and with no subs they all pushed themselves. They ended with 10 players and although they fought hard for a win they had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

I love the craziness of this photo but the loose ball did end up tucked in the wrong net. Appeals were made and ignored.. the game went on ... in the final minute Josh threw himself at a player ready to tuck the rebound into our net and saved the point.
