Wallace Monument

After volunteering at parkrun this morning I went off to Alloa with Mr Rat and JM who were doing a cross-country race.
I dropped them off at the venue and headed a couple of miles away to the foot of Dumyat to have a short, sharp walk to the top.
About half an hour earlier it had been pouring and the hills were still shrouded but as I started walking it gradually got brighter - and warmer - and the mist and clouds started to lift. This was early on, to see others of the lovely colours as the sun came out you'll find them here.
I got back just after the run was finished - I'd thought my walk was muddy but nothing compared to the run!
