Friends!

We were reminiscing today when we met up with Chris and Alf about how we met some thirty years ago.

As a keen walker Chris had advertised in a walking magazine for a group she could join to do the Lyke Wake Walk, a 43 mile trek across the North Yorkshire Moors to be completed in under 24 hours.
The existing group were a bit miffed that one of our members had invited her to join the team without any consultation. (She was the only one to finish that year!)

Well here we are all these years later, the best of friends.
We have a lot in common...love of dogs, the british waterways, Yorkshire, trucks (the men that is) and lots more.
Here they are in front of their lovely new house with Fenn of course!
