Christmas gets a Makeover

For over 30 years we've had Christmas Lights in town; organised as a charity venture. Initially by re-cycling old newspapers long before it became fashionable. Last year the responsibility has shared jointly by the Lights Committee and the Town Council . This was mainly driven by the need to update the 'lights' following the move from tungsten-filament (Incandescent) lamps to fluorescent or LED lamps. The new LED lights are beginning to make an impact.
