One Man and His Dog
This afternoon the temperature reached a giddy 15c in the back garden. Buoyed by the clement temperature and the bright blue sky, a circuitous route to the top if the big hill was chosen to avoid the muddy fields and tracks which are sodden from the rains of the past few days.
After meandering knee deep in ferns and heather for 40 mins or so, we reached the top of the hill just after 3pm. The sun was already beginning to set which made for some colourful scenes. At the top of the hill the wind was brisk so we tootled down into the woods and had some refreshments as a reward for our endeavours. A lucky accidental tapping of my phone led to some music being played. We decided we quite liked tunes in the wood so we broke the silence with some more and sang along. We know how to party.
Back home now and some homemade pizza will soon be stuffed in the oven. This may or may not be accompanied by a crisp prosecco and some Strictly.
Have a fab evening x
P.s. Mr Lif does not have a deformed head. His hoody was up to protect his lugs from the aforementioned brisk wind!!
