Afternoon Stroll

I couldn't believe it. The forecast was good, light winds, dry with occasional sunshine, just right for the golf competition and just the antidote for an eventful week. When will I learn not to trust the weather forecasters? Torrential rain, flooded greens and fairways. The competition was abandoned even before our group started, though the early birds were caught mid course.

As a consolation a few of us waited until the rain had stopped and played 9 holes for fun - well, sort of fun with the course very wet under foot. Never mind, I did manage an hour of quality time with the camera, strolling along Clifton Downs towards the Suspension Bridge.
