I spotted this on the road where the scout hut is -purple find for today all done!
We were on our way to spend money at the scout Christmas fair which seems very early this year, as there is another whole week and a bit of November to go!

Alex had to spend the afternoon frightening assisting children who wanted to get into Santa's grotto! Fred and I bought an apple pie (will do for pud after the roast tomorrow), chutney and some gingerbread cookies (which we promptly demolished with tea) I won a cactus (which will be a useful teaching aid next week) and a cow milk jug - which Alex was very happy with ( I actually won a vase and asked if they would change the tickets on them around!)

We went to Asda between our stint at the fair and when Alex had to finish (right at the end, for packing up duties) and grabbed him on the way back - very busy and mucho exhausting... :-(

It seems to be getting dark so quickly.
Supper time isn't for a couple of hours...

Oh, and Alex is blipping. He decided to do it all by himself and asked me if he could! - alyxl90
