Names

We are away for the weekend with the church staying up in the Midlands and this afternoon some of us get some fresh air wandering around the National Memorial Arboretum. Very impressive with memorials to so many different units, organisations and conflicts. The main walls of the memorial are inscribed with the names of servicemen and women who have died on active service since the end of the Second World War. What is really sobering is the area of wall which is still blank. Let's hope it is a very long time before this space is needed.
