Poppy

My 'piece of history', as it is described in the accompanying brochure, was delivered yesterday.

Having been one of the 888,246 ceramic poppies that made up the Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red installation at the Tower of London until Remembrance Day, it then had to be picked, cleaned and packaged, so I wasn't expecting it for quite a while.

The poppies are meant to be 'planted' outdoors, but I don't have a garden, so will look for a way of displaying it somewhere inside.

I will treasure it for what it signifies.
