Martin Savage

A very enjoyable session shooting headshots for actor Martin Savage.

In the Mike Leigh film Mr Turner, currently on release, Martin plays Benjamin Haydon, the skint artist who J M W Turner lends money to, to keep him out of debtors' prison.

This photo departs from the conventions of what is needed for an entry in Spotlight (the casting directory, which is where most actor headshots are destined) but I liked Martin's expression and the lighting in this one.
