Over the Horizon

Ashes on the wind

This is a pilgrimage of cleansing. Move slow through the wet tussock grass and feel the rain soak through your clothes cold on your skin. Climb through the mists and look down on the valley from whence you came thousands of feet below. The journey of 10,000 steps, eyes on each to the throbbing meditative tune of your heart over exerted climbing strenuously at high altitude.

I had to come up here and throw away all this junk that gets collected. You know what I mean.

No more sadness, fear, doubt, anger, frustration....Enough. Enough to the lack of soul, enough to the rape of the Earth, enough to the denial of the heart, enough to wasted words, and dreams deferred over and over again.

Enough to bad friends, disappointing relationships, unappreciated effort, denial of the truth, and the great apathy of the soul. God damn, get gone, and good riddance! Blow away and never come back. Ashes on the wind.

Cleansed and empty all over again. Spring cleaning.
