The Moeraki Boulders New Zealand

Today we drove from Oamaru to Dunedin, stopping off at Moeraki to see these unusual round boulders that lie on the beach there. They have been exposed as the coastal landmass erodes over time. These round boulders then fall on to the beach to form this cluster of what appear to be giant marbles.
