Emergency Care

Drama in the main street of Geraldine this morning, the Geraldine Fire Service Rescue Team are in action treating and removing a casualty from a crash. This casualty was trapped inside the vehicle when it rolled and a cyclist was trapped under the front of the vehicle. Where the vehicle come to rest against a pole it had brought down some wires, the wires were cleared and the Jaws of Life were used to cut the roof off the vehicle so the casualty could be extricated. This is what MrsPuff and I watched when we went to Geraldine this morning, This was part of the 150 years Celebration of the Geraldine Volunteer Fire Service.
