Mama of the Play

Wednesday, my mom came to town to join me in watching Sugar and her class of Fourth graders perform a silly little play.  They'd been working on it most of the year, and Sugar was pretty pleased with her part as the Mama! She found it exceedingly funny to have a "husband" as well. He is pictured next to her in this shot.  She did great, and everyone enjoyed their efforts.  Such great teamwork.  So proud.

After Guitar lessons....I nabbed the Sugar to head on home.  Sugar was super excited to learn that I had picked up her new reading glasses.  You'd have thought it was Christmas.  No shot of my girl in her glasses just yet.  It was too dark to really showcase the "new glasses" joy.
