London without a plan
D travelled South and I travelled North and we met by the Totem Pole at the British Museum. I like to have a plan but today it was D's turn to choose what we did so we just walked and looked and I took photos until my battery ran out. It was amazing what we found in this dark damp city. Most amazing was the Seven Dials Book Swap - a shop full of armchairs and free books and a locker where you can put in your phone to charge while you wander about. We got as far as Waterloo Bridge and then back via Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden (Godrun Sjoden!). Had our dinner in the crypt of St Martin in the Fields Church.
Finally, we were back in the Museum, which is always more exciting at night :-)
Tomorrow D is doing his talk, and I am at liberty in London. I have plans, and they include the Portrait Gallery...
