"Tighter than a duck's a*se"

My Moss Side Grandma made this saying her own, and I thought of her today when photographing the geese at the farm. You know that the weather is bad when even the geese forsake the mud and mooch disconsolately into the barn. They eventually braved a few yards through the drizzle to go back to a freshly topped up puddle.

There is something in that puddle that probably shouldn't be there for perfect composition. Geese being geese and me being me, I decided not to risk life and limb losing the moment by trying to move it, whatever it is.
