Angel of the North

Again far too much choice of blips for today (the rest can be found here). Very busy day starting off with a visit to the local canal near my sisters new flat, followed by a visit to Holy Island on the way home, the passing Angel of the North, followed by dinner with my friend with the good camera ;-) whom I even managed to persuade to post his first blip!!!

In the end I settled for a picture taken from the window of a moving car of the Angel of the North a statue just outside of Newcastle, UK, which invoked a lot of controversy when it was installed in 1994.
