Monkey Marathon

Ninja Monkey was most delighted when she went to the Royal Mail sorting office this morning to collect a package. Turned out to be the MONKEY box set - 39 episodes, plus 13 not televised in the UK.

Friday nights when I was much much younger. Sitting down to watch Monkey on BBC2 at 7pm and even back then, realising that part of it's charm was the pure comedy of bad dubbing of the English voice over track over the chinese dialogue.

James and I are going to sit down and watch an episode in a minute. Then it's bed for him, and work for me.

Taxi is booked for Saturday night. All I need is something to wear and Ninja Monkey will go to the ball. Or rather, Chinatown and then to the Drag cabaret. Can't wait :-)
