STRIPPED

With the plaster stripped away, the history of the building is revealed.
The older part was built with mud sun-dried bricks. The original building had a front gable. This we know from photographs.Some time way back there must have been a fire as quite a few houses nearby have lost their gables.
This building also lacks the refinement found in our cottage e.g. yellow wood ceilings and doors etc. From the placing of the attic door one can also see the lack of refinement.
