Tower Bridge, London
Tower Bridge is a combined bascule and suspension bridge in London which crosses the River Thames. It is close to the Tower of London, from which it takes its name, and has become an iconic symbol of London. I am visiting my cousin Danksound and we went inside and up to the walkway. They have installed six glass panels in the floor so you can see down to the road below. The engineering was amazing, especially when you realise it was finished in 1894.
Danksound's picture for today is here and shows the glass walkway.
