Planning

I see that there has been a planning application lodged for this area of land to the North of our house. Not sure that I have any grounds to object but when you stay in the same place for over 30 years you notice the cumulative effect of new builds whether single or schemes.

Much of the so called poor agricultural land that is given over to houses is the ideal place for nesting birds such as Curlew, Snipe, Lapwing and Oystercatcher not to mention the frogs. I'm certain that the number of these birds in my area of many walks have declined over these years.

A single house here may not make too much of a difference but the access road that has to be built seems grand for a single property.
