Potato Swizzlers!

There was a Twilight Market at the local Aussie Rules Club - music, children's activities and food stalls. I have never seen a Potato Twizzler before!

The man on the right puts a large, peeled potato on a spinning device that cuts it into a spiral. The woman in the hat dips them in the deep fat frier. And they turn into these golden spirals that are stuck on a wooden spike for eating.

No, I didn't try one but they were most popular. I'll have one next time when I can keep some calories back in readiness :-)
