Meet Rusty

This is No. 15 Beauty Amongst the Rust by Artist Troy Gutry. Here is yesterdays blip that will link you to the other 'Stands Tall' arts project of Giant fibreglass Giraffe sculptures on the streets of Christchurch this summer.

This Giraffe is in Victoria square and at first I didn't think much of him. In the sunlight he did glow and had wonderful golden brown specks through him and the silver petals took on the surrounding colours.

After long with cold winds today has been the opposite with strong hot Nor-West winds. At one stage it was 27c not sure how hot it did get. They say tomorrow is to be 15c. It was too hot to walk around to much so I took my car and did the rest of my Christmas shopping to get sent away to Canada.
