Natures Chopsticks

Called at Saltfleet Haven today on the way to work just for a change. A bit overcast and definitely muddy, but a few birds were in the Haven a I'd hoped there might be. Caught this curlew with it's beak open, I really do wonder how they manage to eat with a beak that long and curved. As I said in the caption, natures chopsticks.

Difficult to choose which pics to put up again today. Also shot a nice sandpiper plucking a crustacean of some sort from the muddy bank.

Brilliant evening at work, such a contrast from lat weeks mayhem. Got some brilliant shots there too of the young people playing silly games.
