The Rollright Stones
Nestled in a field on the edge of a country road in the Cotswolds lies a circle of Neolithic stones nearly 4000 years old. This circle was named in the medieval times as the King's Men and in the field across road stands a huge stone dating 1000's years older named the King's stone.
The morning was crisp and foggy and beautifully atmospheric. Definitely worth a visit in the winter as you will likely be the only people there amongst such history!
