Bird

Taken not far from yesterday's blip - it was standing opposite the bus stop on the Shore. It's a black-headed gull. (I know, I know....something to do with being out of breeding plumage, apparently.)

All its chums were splashing about in the water and dive-bombing the juvenile herring gulls for laughs. Actually one of the latter seemed to be trying to imitate a mallard and up-end himself in the water in search of treats - it didn't seem to be going very well.
