The Gairloch View

I think that not only is this my favourite view going to work in the morning, but it is also my favourite light and and my favourite colour.
I used to call these pale layers the "Colin Baxter" look, as I remember the pleasure he gave when he published postcards like this of Scottish scenery. It was a delight not to have a Scottie dog or a piper on the front.

I have just realised that I may have given the impression that I am comparing myself to the great man - sorry, Mr. Baxter.
