A Frosty Run

This certainly has been the mildest winter I remember, and I've heard that it's been the mildest winter on record in the Seattle area. Lots of sunshine, flowers blooming much earlier than in the typical year, temperatures in the mid-60s over the weekend with children playing outside in short sleeves. Sure signs of an early spring... and I like it! And then what? Snow flurries yesterday? Waking up to frost on the ground and plants and rooftops today? Is Winter trying to make it's presence known before Spring truly takes over?

This morning I headed out with my little point & shoot for Day 2 of my walking/running program. It was cold, but the sparkling frost was beautiful. An hour later most of it was gone...
