Post in the sand.

The weather was quite bright with a chill first thing, and we spent several hours wandering along the fells to the east of Loweswater.

After a quick sandwich, banana and a delicious dose of carbs we went on to the beach at Allonby, not a bucket, spade or donkey in sight, taking probably over a thousand photos between us in the day.

When we return to our lovely warm and comfortable base, we each select 10 of our own favourites taken that day, and then discuss them after dinner in a very convivial and relaxed manner. Although it is relaxed, we still learn a huge amount from these sessions but looking at everyone else’s photos and hearing some constructive criticism from John Gravett (as well as from our fellow LPHers).

This was one of my 10 favourites today, so I thought I’d use it for my Blip.
