Wednesday Wisdom – Eat Fruit

Another wise saying is that when the gods wish to punish us, they answer our prayers. But conversely, the gods being the contrary creatures they are reputed to be, maybe the opposite is also true. Fourteen years ago, a baby was born to a very young, unmarried mother. At the time, the situation caused considerable consternation, just as it must have done prior to the birth of another child out of wedlock, 2000 years earlier.

That baby was our first grandson, and he is the pride and joy of his mother and all his grandparents and relations. We wouldn’t be without him for anything in the world.
