Scotland's universities - discussing the future

A day spent in Edinburgh, discussing the future of Scorland's universities.

Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning, Michael Russell MSP, provided his thoughts on some of the challenges facing higher education. These included access, governance and postgraduate study.

A theme throughout was the importance of effective leadership and management, at all levels in our institutions. This is something I'm passionate about and try, each day, to encourage and support others to address the challenges we face.
