Weeding

Another dry and pleasant day, the sun appearing for a couple of hours. This patch of the garden is the mini wildflower meadow and was covered in daisies, I want to re-seed it with a wildflower mix in Spring so dug up all the daisies and other invasive plants.

At the back of this photo one of the deep beds with overwintering onions is doing well. There is a second bed further back with leeks and garlic which are also looking good.

After the weeding I cut a few more branches of the red dogwood, such a satisfying job and lots of sticks for peas and beans into the bargain. Also managed to get the towels dry outdoors, a very productive day :-)
