A Close Encounter.......

........of the sparrow hawk kind.....This feather and many others were left by a collared dove when the sparrow hawk swooped over the garden and almost grabbed it.....it escaped being lunch by shedding a vast quantity of fluffy feathers....hope he's not too cold tonight :-))
