Hectic day

Ferguson had expressed a desire to see Nanny so I took the opportunity to visit today & stay over.
Firstly though for the entire morning I to-ed and fro-ed with my car at the garage following last night's little incident. I really despairing of it as a reliable mode of transport now & have no doubt in my mind that I will willingly get rid of it in the spring/summer. What type of car remains to be seen, circumstances pending.
On a slightly more positive note, the joint bank account that Ian & I shared has FINALLY been closed! Apparently because of all the overdrawn-ness that Ian continually made, a bar had been placed on the account which even prevented closure. How ridiculous!!! After over 60 minutes in the branch & numerous phone calls later, they finally ticked enough boxes to allow the account to cease.
I feel so relieved now that monkey is off my back. Just 2 more things now & I will be able to completely extradite myself from Ian & not pussyfoot around any longer for fear of any financial shit he could land me in. It's be a while in coming but the house is for sale & I've reached the magic 5 year marker, so hopefully I can get things moving at last.

My mum's was a pleasant enough change & Ferguson spent the whole time with the colouring books we took- which was really nice!
Just need to get him distanced from Daniel & hopefully some of the gaming obsession can be diminished.
