Jacaranda season

There is no doubt that November has arrived when the Jacaranda trees show their style. It's interesting that all year long they appear as any ordinary tree but come November and they become so obvious no matter where you look.
Once they drop the petals there is a virtual purple "snow storm" apparent around the base of the tree.
